In the assignment 35Workout, I had to create a table to put the information about the article I typed. I needed to make sure that I used to correct font, font size, and color. The skills that I used in this assignment were important. One was being able to create a table. Not just creating the table, but making sure the font direction and size were correct, and also making sure the boxes were divided into the sizes they needed to be. The only thing I learned from this exercise was how to make a table and work with it. In this document, I feel I did well on the table considering it was my first time working with it. I also think I did well with just typing the information, which is simple. What I would do differently to improve this assignment would be to make my table more accurate because I know it's not completely right.

For this assignment, I had to create more tables, but more complicated tables. I also had to type out a memo. The tables support the memo and the tables were harder because i had to figure out a theme, and make every other row shaded a certain color. Also had to make sure I lined the information up correctly. The technology skills for this exercise were the same for all the others, just the shading of the boxes was another step, but I have already worked with themes and colors. With that said, that's the only thing that I learned from this assignment because I learned the other techniques from the other assignments. What I did well on this assignment, I think, were the tables because even thought they might not be 100% done correctly, I feel I did my best to make sure it was done well. If I were to do this assignment over, I would improve the accuracy of the information inside of the tables to make the tables better.
53Voyager
For the assigment 53Voyager, I had to choose a newsletter template in Microsoft Publisher with three columns. After I chose which template I wanted, I had to get the information from the book and fill it in where it needed to go. I also had to insert a picture with a caption that went along with the topic of the newsletter. The technology skills I need to know to finish this assignment were just basically knowing how to use Microsoft Publisher. Also needing to know the skills used in the previous assignments such as themes, text boxes, fonts and font colors, and knowing how to use bullets for information. From creating this newsletter, I learned more about templates and how to use them correctly and set them up with the information that I need to use. I think I did well on this assignment because I set up the columns correctly and tried to create the right amount of space for each column so the newsletter didn't look weird. I also think I managed to do the title well, but if I could do anything differently to make the assignment better I would make the font size a little larger maybe to make it so there wasn't so much space on the bottom where there's no text.
TeenUSAPayroll
For the TeenUSAPayroll assignment, you need to know the tools to excel. What I had to for this assignment was type out the data given on the handout, then I had to put formulas in to find totals and the pay for employees. I also had to highlight certain important columns. After I finished it, I had four questions to answer based on the information I found after using the formulas to find the answers. The technology skills used for this assignment were the basic excel tools and formulas. Also knowing how to color fill certain columns and rows and being able to bold and underline the words necessary. Other skills such as knowing how to format the width of the columns are also needed. What I learned and accomplished by completing this assignment was just basically refreshing my memory on excel and the tools I use on it because I already knew a lot about excel from working with it in middle school. What I did well in this assignment was putting in the formulas and Auto Filling the rest of the cells. If I could do anything differently to improve this work I would space out the answers to my questions at the bottom because they seem too squished together.
To start this assignment off, I had to take a personality test which determined what type of careers would interest me. I ended up with career types such as investigative, enterprising, and social. After this I chose 8 different careers within these types. For each career I needed to research information like requirements for them, hours worked, what they do, and where they do it. After all of that was finished, I put all of the information in a data table in Microsoft Word. The technology skills needed to do this project were, obviously, knowing how to research information on the web, Microsoft tools such a making a table, and all the steps within creating a table such as merging cells, column width and things like that. I learned a lot about different careers and what I could go to college for and also what colleges are good for each career selected. In this assignment I think I created the table very well because its neat and organized and also colorful and eye-catching. To improve my work I would probably go back and find more accurate information about the careers because I think I could have better facts about each one.
